Description
The VT-635 Visible Fault Locator (VFL) is a
635nm laser source designed to be used to
locate connections, bends, splices and cuts
which would increase the loss in the fiber
path. Problem areas in the fiber path will glow
red as light escapes from the core of the
fiber. The VFL can also be used for shortrange
fiber identification and continuity tests.
The VFL includes 2 AA batteries, a carrying
pouch, magnetic clip and water-resistant
hard-wall carrying case.
